Does anyone know of an interval training group that runs either in the morning in the inner west (Glebe, Drummoyne or nearby) or in the evenings in Sydney's CBD? I'm not super fast but I'm doing a half marathon in May and I need to get my speed up.

Hi Tami,

I posted on the places and clubs forum about clinics in the Inner West and someone mentioned the Woodstock Runners. I haven't trained with them before but here's a link: http://www.woodstock...org.au/drupal2/

They do interval training in Canterbury on Thursday nights. Or you might want to try this clinic which trains in Rozelle: http://www.freespiri...e_run_club.html

Good luck in the half marathon.

Every Thursday morning, 6:15, Timbrell Park, west end of Iron Cove, about a dozen runners of various abilities do 1k reps (or variations) around the park. You are most welcome. No fees, just front up. Optionally, a small group trot around for a warm up from Drummoyne Rowers near Iron Cove Bridge, leaving at 6:00am.

TNT (Thursday Night Training) with Woodstock Runners. Every Thursday 6.30pm at Campbell Oval, Canterbury. There are several runners training for the SMH Half in May. No need to book, just come along. Fees are $2 per session to cover costs.

You could try Sean Williams Sweat training.
