However, we are only talking about a little trophy and your name on a plaque here, there is no prize money and no other incentives, except the recognition of others...but we all run for ourselves right?

News for you Chilli!
Register and complete the Yurrebilla 56km Ultra Marathon and you will get a gorgeous medal (at least they were last year, but you would know that).
Hurry, limited places and they are filling quickly!

There is no way i'll pickup a trophy at Yurrebilla, funny the thought never crosses my mind on trail. Must have been doing that road run that has brought out the competitive spirit in me.
Have a drawer that is sagging at the bottom full of race metal, it's the cabinet that's empty.
Speaking of gorgeous medals this one is fantastic - looks like solid gold - designed by our very own maggot. (And no that is not a new afro I am modeling in the pic it was bloody cold), I even have on the Yurrebilla shirt from last year - promoting the run.
Has this become the new hijackers thread whilst we are waiting for results ?

Congratulations to all who finished.
Looks like Poppa is one on the unknowns in the results, yet his number is next to yours Mumma. Hopefully they will sort it out.
I have no idea when I'll get the Adelaide Marathon Stats updated as I'm so busy with cricket umpiring and other stuff. Can't use the excuse of OS trips this year!

Yep, 14 late entries / unknown, hopefully they will get sorted before you update the stats history crowpower, especially for one of the legends of the Adelaide Marathon. How could it have slipped through ? No better reason to update the timing system for next year.
The only error on mine was being put down as a South Aussie.

In the previous 30 years of the Adelaide Marathon I can recall only two instances of unknown runners in the final results (and one of those they called Fred Nirkey - take a look!). So to have 14 in one year is completely unacceptable. I won't be doing any updating until it is sorted out.
How can Poppa be a late entry? His race number is 118. Mumma's number is 119 and by coincidence my own number is 120. My time was 4:12:04 if anyone wants to see for themselves. I entered in mid July and so must have the Treasons.
