Hi,
Does anyone know any good hills in Stanmore for hill repeats? The only hill I know of in the area is on Douglas Street, and it's only 2%.
Thanks.

Try Shaw Street (south end of Crystal St) in Petersham, just a few minutes run south of Stanmore. Or a little closer, and quieter, is Brighton Street, also in Petersham, but on Stanmore border.
Both are close to Douglas St, which you mentioned

you are a perfect warm-up away form Sydney Park at St Peters, which has two decent size hills plus some good smaller hills as well

Corunna Rd (bottom end near McDonalds) has a short sharp hill.

I reckon Long arms has it right. Sydney park is the go.
Mind you running up parramatta rd, there some nice undulations that will take you up to the bay run, or do as I do and follow it all the way to parramatta and up to north rocks, there's a great hill there, which is loverly after the 25 or so K warm up to get to it.....

Sydney park has many hills to choose from.......and if you come down on a Wed or Friday morning, you'll find a few of us there doing some training. Not the boot camp, but running group. Not always on hills, but there are some good spots there for intervals and short speed work.

I do hill repeats on the Crescent/Minogue Crescent next to Harold Park in Forest Lodge. Wigram street in Forest Lodge/Glebe also a goodie, Johnston St Annandale up from the water to the village is a less steep but longer climb.
All within a few km of Stanmore.
