Pretty pissed off with myself now! Couldn't afford the entry yet, and just checked and the individual entries are already full! WTF!!! I'm on the wait list which is already like 100+ long.

Really really really pissed off at myself - I just never figured it would sell out so fast.

Anyway, just a heads up!

Oh no! That's got to be so disappointing for you. Do you have a back up race plan in case you don't make it off the wait list?

Sorry to hear Goughy.

But why would anyone want to enter Noosa when the Port Macquarie Half IM is on the same weekend? :D

Goughy,

that is tough.. i made the registration, couldnt believe it was full in less than 5 days.

One option if you are super keen - register as a team and do all three legs yourself. It'll cost you a bit extra ($40?). Its not cheap to start with, but it depends how keen you are.

good luck

So, Miners, sell me the Port Mac HIM. :)
Seriously.
I'm contemplating either GCHIM or PMHIM.
GC has the distinct advantage of being much closer and cheaper.
Location it loses to anywhere this side of Mars though.

Goughy - not quite OD, but you could go SprintMan at GCHIM then make sure you get in early for M'ba next year :)

That's what I'm contemplating! And isn't there an OD race in Redcliffe early in the year too? I actually thought of trying the gchim, but with it in October I'm no chance of being ready. Looking through old threads on here Noosa didn't sell out last year till late July/early August. I figured I had enough time to let my CC click over to it's next cycle, which happened today :D Made as hell at myself......

Yeah, I entered in July last eyar and thought I was really early.
I wasn't gunna do Noosa this year, so no skin off my nose.
One thing to consider is the training series with Noosa Tri Club
http://www.noosatriclub.net/
They actually do a club race over the distance in August.

I'd already decided not to enter Noosa this year. Will probably do Mooloolaba next year.

Still might consider a team for Noosa but then I guess I better find some accommodation.

I'd be happy to do the run leg if anyone wanted to put together a team
