The Frankston to Melbourne fat ass run on the old marathon course yesterday and the running from Redcliffe to Brisbane thread have got me thinking about whether we could recreate the old Brisbane to Redcliffe marathon.
But I have no idea what the course was. Does anyone have a map that they could scan and email me?
I would be interested in organising a fat ass run of this course if possible. I probably won't be able to run it myself for another 12 months but if anyone might be interested in running it before then let me know here and I'll see if I'm able to organise something.

Possibly, the roads may have changed a little since with the gateway ...bear in mind this was last run in 1989....Once you work your way out of the city to Kingsford Smith Drive you go via Nudgee Road out to Sandgate Road and follow all the way to Redcliffe. probably have to use the bike path . then over Hornibrook Hway then still need to run up Oxley Ave and we finished near the jetty. The end of the biodge was only 30km approx from memory. Someone more tech than me could map one similar.
