Well, after a week of bugger all, I just did a leisurely 8k-ish through the Kings Park trails and past those shacks on Cliff St. *cracking knuckles*
I think maybe I'll not worry 'bout the Freo half. I think I just want to explore trails and get back to running 10ks under 1 hour and 3 minutes and get back on my bike and try and maintain a weekend long run..and...yeah... !
What's NRSG stand for?

NSRG is Northern Suburbs Running Group...see http://www.nsrg.org.au/
They are a friendly bunch, with regular Sat runs at Neil Hawkins Park and elsewhere and usually a sausage sizzle.
I did a 9km today at 4:46 pace which is pretty quick for me. Felt good after a week off after the marathon.
Still got a slight pain under my right foot, hope it rights itself for the Freo Half.

Hi all
Went up to Hillarys this morning after about 2 hours sleep, met Big Kev and Big Paul for a spirited 30 km run North to Burns Beach and back (and a little extra to make the distance 30km.) Crossed paths with NSRG on a couple of occasions - they looked so comfortable, I think they could've gone a bit harder...
BK, I've got to say - THAT WAS THE SECOND HARDEST RUN I'VE EVER DONE!! I think I've lost a toenail somewhere!!!
Sorry I couldn't stay for pancakes as I had to go and clean up my house - after all it is Fathers' Day.
See you same time next Sunday

What sort of pace were you guys doing? I suspect you might be a bit fast for me. Well done on the run - we'll have to call you Big Geoffa now.

Big Kev just sent me the splits. Amazingly, for me anyway, we averaged 4.34 per km! We did stop and rest a couple of times, but it was a good hit-out for Rotto. Gentle jog today for recovery and still cleaning up after Saturday night's shindig.
Keep running
