There is now a Melbourne Marathon Wiki Page  where (if you are so inclined) you can list which running event / cheersquadding and social events you're entering / attending.

done - thanks.  This will hopefully be a big PB for me - nearly 3 minutes off a PB that is now over a year old.  Fingers, toes, eyes crossed.....

Done also, but I cannot see your entry maryclaire.

Ok. I'm up there too.

The aim is a massive PB but doable (yeah, saying that won't come back to haunt me).

Added my name for the HM. Aiming for 88:00 at the moment, but I'm also going to have a go at that this weekend at the Yarra Boulevard HM. If I manage it there I'll set myself a new target to aim for.

Hi All

I've put myself down for a sub 4 hour.

Didn't seem that painful at all!! Now for the hard part.

I can't believe we are down to 4 and a bit weeks to go.

I am starting to get nervous just thinking about it - this thread doesn't help.

I did a 4:19 last year and I have done more & better mileage this year so fingers crossed I can go under 4.

Good luck to all runners whatever the distance.

And good luck with the next 4 weeks training.

See you at the start ( & hopefully the finish)

Dave

Well I tried to log into the wiki page but it wouldn't let me. These damn computers have got it in for me, I know they have.
I'm in the full, hoping against hope that it's a perfect morning and I can squeeze in under 4 hour for once in my life.

Fear not, Davo & Digger, I've added you both to the marathon list, but wasn't sure if you both would be attending the afters.

Well I couldn't work it out either, so: probably somewhere between 3.30 and 4.00, training hasn't been good enough to think about anything better, and it may well be worse. Bib no. 74, probably wearing CR cap and Richmond Harriers singlet.
Will probably make it back for drinks at Transport.

G'day all.

I have been trying to add my name and time to the Half List for the past 4 weeks, but cannot "log in" to edit. Being the "Little Miss Independant" that I am, I never thought to ask somebody like you kind Baz to do it for me.

Could you, or some other kind sole, please add me to the Half Mara list for a sub 2:30 (I hope) and also put me down for drinks at the Transport!!

See you all either at the start, on the road, at the finish or at the Transport!!

How the hell did you get 74???

I made a point of entering the very bloody second it went live online, just to see how high a number I could get (I was bored)... and I got 377. Must be like Ticketek, where they get rid of the crappy seats first.

I am tempted to revise down my goal time  as the day gets closer.  I was stupidly playing around on the calculators/predictors last night and not one of them predicted the time I want based on races this year.

However, the same thing happened last year and based on those predictors i shouldn't have run the 1/2 mara times i did last year.  So I guess there's still hope....

I just did it for you while I was in there.    Even though I was already logged in I had to log in again.  Just your user name and password.  Then go back to edit.  Then for some reason back to the main board where you coem back here and follow the link above back and hit the edit button again and you should be right to go.

Last of all you have to scroll down and save changes.

That login for the Wiki pages seems to catch everyone. Make sure it's your username you're entering not your email address like you use to log in to the forums. :o

I entered as an AV runner, so maybe they saved the low numbers for us? Or maybe that's where I am seeded in the race   :o

Thanks Baz (must be the luck of the Irish! :o )
As for the post-race thingy, I'll see how I feel.
Hope to see you and lots of other familiar faces either at the Expo or at the start. Once the race has started the only part of you that I'll see is your backside!  :D

Hey people,

Last year some of us updated the Wiki with the real time next to the expected ... we could do the same this year. I already updated mine :)
