If I can get you to stop wanting to go left on the pacific highway at every overpass should save some time :D

Being a fat ass event you can take as long as you like, so I guess you could do it on very little prep, although 30 + k long runs should see you at the finish..
I may be a starter this year depending on how recovery goes, although its a shame I have to choose between this and the South West Rocks Marathon, although given my present "long" run is only around 15ks I still have a fair way to go

Its time.
Okay its not quite time but I am impatient.
I plan to run PMC this sat the 10th of April. From Gosford to Sydney - down as they say.
Anyone looking for a long run feel free to join in the fun and frivolities. You don't need to do the whole thing There are plenty of train stations given lots of different km options. It would be nice to have some friendly faces also out on the course.

Your favourite car load of blue mountains yobbos will be doing a training run that day elsewhere so unfortunately we won't be able to drive past and cheer you on.
Have fun!

I do look forward to a good Woohoo from a bunch of female yooboos driving past
Enjoy your run in the blue mountains.
Can't imagine how you would think that could be more scenic than say a long road with nothing on it in Peats ridge.

As we run along on the mountain trails, we'll be thinking of you down there on the road. You'll have to listen out for our telepathic waves of "woohoo" drifting down from the mountains to cheer you on

Have fun. Is it the same Jess who I shared the Mountains with last weekend?
France? What have I missed?

Dutchy was kind enough to drop me to the start and after a photo, the pack Ie myself was off and shuffling. Dutchy followed me through the first few corners to make sure I took the right course.
Just before Mooney Mooney Dutchy dropped slow maniac off who ran with me to Mooney Mooney where Ourimbah joined in with the running and Mick offered our complimentary bike escort. Mick I think they are meant to be motorbikes ahead of the leading runners but the pushbike seemed able to keep up.
Top of Pie in the Sky and Ourimbah and Slow Maniac gave in to the lure of a ride and a pie and I was alone briefly. Duncan joined in for my next bike escort and went to Berowra where Jess, Bandana and Dan were waiting.
On we shuffled, down into Bobbin Head. I walked all the hill on the way out and somehow resisted the temptation to turn right and head home at the Bobbin Head/Pacific Hwy intersection. Having witnesses certainly helped.
Jess and Bandana called it a day at Mowbray Rd but Dan said he would run to the end.
Done and dusted 17 minutes slower than the "official" Unofficial PMC from 09 but I was happy with that.

I'm in the same boat, hopefully we can get a lift. If not there's always the train – I know it arrives just after 7:00, but last year we waited until the train arrived before we started the race anyway.

Thanks mate.
was looking forward to the 3 peaks, but to be honest I really need a 100k
decent run at the moment.
looks like I might win PMC this year!!

(If family situation back in Singapore were to change and requires me to pick up an earlier flight, I will be a no go!)
Perhaps 90plusKm of road is turning people off? Seriously, there are more downhill than climbs. Take a weekend break away from Trails and come and enjoy the full monotony of the endless painted white line bordering our favorite stretch of Central Coast to North Shore

I know of a couple of other Berowra Bushrunners who are planning to do parts of the course, either to Berowra or joining at Berowra.
I was expecting to catch the train but would love a lift if anyone is heading up with room in their car. Can wait anywhere on Pacific Hwy around Wahroonga area. PM me if you have a spare seat.

As you know, I'm flying to the UK for the weekend. I'm the first non-Asian to fly to the UK on a non-Asian airline for 3 days, whilst stopping off in an Asian country.

if others want a lift from Highway at this time, let me know.
Also - If I get there at 6, will probably not hang about but head off

Actually, I am not a starter this year.
I am super keen to do it, but I didn't lock it in quickly enough - I was looking for someone to run with (who wouldn't mind a 14hr grind), but by the time I found someone, my calendar had been filled.
plu's recount of PMC last year was the inspiration for doing the Sydney Coastal Run last September, so PMC is definitely still on my list... but will have to be next year (or maybe the next down year).
Really sorry folks... but wishing you all the best weather, and a fantastic run!
Cheers, CaptainSmeg.
PS: I didn't realise I'd been counted amongst the confirmed starters until just now. Will keep a closer eye on the threads in future!

We have two starting at 6 and two at 7.
Anyone else out there tempted. I am starting at 7 with Sir Runalot, we have a mate (CR - Rivz) crewing for the first half.
We also have one spare seat leaving the north Shore at 6am.
Innes & Graham, have a great run, fair to say we wont see you out there given we are giving you an hour head start.
