Does anyone know of any shoes as bouncy and soft as the Nimbus but with a wider toe box?
Cheers

Nimbus now also come in a 4E fitting - they are a really wide toebox - much wider than any similar cushion shoe I have seen. They are a big and heavy shoe but I use them as part of my "fleet" of shoes.

Nimbus 4E can be bought at many places in Melb. Not sure of Brisbane. Rebel in Melb don't stock them on the shelves but will bring them in if you pay a deposit and you know your size. You can get them online at Stringersports - pretty good price too ($179). Buy the previous model Nimbus10 - they claim to have all sizes but if not they'll send you the new model at the lower price.

I also rate the Brooks Infiniti highly. They are not a structured shoe but do provide a level of guidance not available in Neutral shoes, so are ideal for mild pronators

Nimbus 7, 8, 9 and 10. The Nimbus 8's still my preference and so occasionally still get them on eBay.
Nike Pegasus 25 - wider toe box, but not as cushioned as Nimbus, slightly flatter in the heel.
Brooks Glycerin - wider toe box, slightly less cushioning, seems to be a stiffer sole.
None of the other shoes I've tried personally would I buy again. The three types above all suit me to slightly varying degrees. FWIW I run quite upright, am neutral almost to supination, mid-foot strike, 66kg.

I have Glycerin 6 and they feel really hard underfoot. Especially under the heel. I guess Im used to the Asic gel heel. I actually got shinsplints cuz I was switching between the glycerin and Asic for short and long runs.....thanks to some bad advice from a shoe store.

EXACTLY my situation.
No other shoe feels as bouncy underfoot which I seem to need.
I have the exact same running gait as you, upright, neutral and slight supination with midfoot strike and I am 67kg. My only problem is I have a slight Trendelenburg gait (legs kick outwards when coming forward to hit the ground again) because of poor glutes.

I started running in my early 20s and right through to 2006 I never had a single injury and I used to run longer distances than I do now and in cheap Puma runners with virtually no cushioning!!
Then in 2006 at 32 years of age I was diagnosed with cancer and had 6 months of chemo and I have never been the same since with running. The chemo not only damaged my lungs and therefore I just don't have the same lung capacity as I used to but it totally changed my muscle composition. I can't build muscle as well as I used to and I keep getting injured running no matter what shoes I wear.
Having gone through all that, I still did the QLD half marathon this year (with a hip flexor injury which hurt even when walking!).
The Nimubs is the only shoe since 2006 that has felt right except the toe box............so the search continues.........
Thanks for all your advice. Much appreciated.

After doing the Sydney Marathon got a case of Metatarsalgia, so I got a half size bigger in the Nimbus 11.
I have found in the Nimbus 11 heaps more room, a lot more than what I would think by just half a size. They seem to me to be a bigger cut of shoe around the toes.
The Nimbus 11 also feels more cushioned to me then the Nimbus 10.
I'm sure I'll be running for a long long time in the Nimbus 11.
Try them on, they are a better cut.
I also love the colour of them, they are Silver Bullets for BitetheBullet.
