Noticed this on Slowtwitch- survey of the shoe choices of the top 15 finishers in this year's Hawaii Ironman.

Newton shoes and KSwiss gear get a bit of a workout......

Top 15 would probaly been on freebies or part of there sponsorship.

Interesting but not really relevant to the average punter.

Though Macca loves his Newtons and why wouldn't he.

BTW they do surveys on all sort of Hawaii Ironman stuff, bikes ,bike shoes, running shoes, etc, etc.

Interesting info. Shows what is in fashion and what has gone out of fashion.

I'd be interested to know if they wore those shoes thru choice or because the shoes were paid for by sponsors etc. BIG difference. Until I know that, it counts for diddle-squat.

I think you meant Crowie, didn't you? Macca runs in Asics.
