Any chance of a lift to the start of the run from Pennant Hills anybody?
The wife and children will most likely come up for a swim and give me a lift home. Weather dependant.
Cheers

I will probably try and join you for one of the shorter distances if thats OK. I cant seem to see any course maps for the shorter options though? Can someone point me in the right direction - I had a quick scan through the 09 thread too but couldnt see them.
Cheers,
Jules

Just turn up on the morning and all will be fine. Let me know how far you want to go and you will get pointed in the right direction.

No worries thanks for that..will probably aim for a gentle 20-25 I think...unfortunately my Garmin decided to pack it in and is in getting fixed so am keen to get an idea of the course and distance beforehand. Cheers!

Thanks Ms Koala. I'll PM you with the details. Mouse and Timmeister are putting on the finish line feast of a century, or a new decade at least. I'm planning on doing at least lookouts 1 & 2 mainly because it means I get to go past the Pisgah Aid Station a few times. Still have fond memories of the tim tams there last year.

Im transporting a couple of 6ft beer betters with me, wrapped in cotton wool of course. I will get the inside scoop on their form during the drive up and back.

sounds to me Moh that sticking to you this year should be safe

* 7am start. National anthem waits for noone.
* Parking will be at a premium back up the road as the gates dont open until 8am.
* Maps will be available. I ran off 30 today. Most have run the course before and is not real hard.
* Make sure you have a water container. Ideally carry min. 1 litre and top up at the aid stops.
* Remember, we dont cross any natural drinking water out there.
* Bring a few drinks for after the run. DONT leave them in your car. If you are new to this run, trust me when I say if you go back to your car after the finish, you wont return.
* Dont forget the Oz gear. $50 2XU voucher to the best dressed out there.
* If you are camping, Tallgeoff is up there the night before. Look out for him and hopefully we can all get in the one camp area.
Thanks Brick and Sailaway for large containers. If someone has one more it would be nice out at Pisgah. Dont forget to fill it with water!!! and a bit of ice. Also if someone has a large tub of sunblock, might be handy down at the causeway finish area.

Thanks so much to both of you. Both will be very handy on the day. I remember last year lazing in the water with a beer or two in hand, and getting a touch of sunburn. Didnt notice with the water on me.

Princess Donges
The Welsh Exchange Student (the pack of females that seem to follow the WXS every where he goes including Red Bull promo girls)

I'll be there too. It's the only time my Aussie flag boxers get such a public airing!

Impressive roll up of BMMC members and associates. I would say Terry Meehan will also be out there doing his best for Yellow Rock. Couple missing off the roll call - Actionman, Shogun, ST who would have all livened up the faster runners on the day. Still yet to see Cedric of Furber steps fame.

Hope you don't mind if my hubby and I join you lovely folks for a run too?
- You can add Shot'is and Winks to your list (Thanks Tall Geoff and Big Bird for the courage and motivation!). Not sure how far at this stage, maybe not quite up for the full monty yet...
Thanks,
