Hi all,

I have just acquired a road bike and wish to store it indoors for various reasons.

I have space behind my bedroom door and was hoping to attach a few brackets to my wall and hang my bike there, in vertical fashion. The only problem is, I've searched online and went to my local bike shop and haven't found anything :D

Anyone know if/where I might be able to find something like that? Or is this a DIY job?

Cheers,

RS

You can get big plastic coated hooks of different shapes from hardware stores. They cost about $10 each. The hard part is figuring out how to attach the hook to the door so that it is stable and can take the weight. Most modern doors are hollow and made from thin plywood so they are easier to swing.
