Hi all,

I  guess this is more for the programmers amongst you.  I think there is an issue with the blogs.  I just did an update and it did not appear as the latest post.  I found it on page 96 ( my first  blog post page) not page 1 which is the current page.

http://www.coolrunni.../...php?&st=950

Any ideas? Anyone else with a blog? Would you see if the same happens for you?

Could it be related to the date.  It has gone to 3 January 2006 instead of 3 January 2010.  My blog must be exactly 3 years old.

cheers  Plu

Plu - I haven't updated mine recently.
We have had other people flag issues, but I have checked all the settings and there are no things we can tweak.
We are overdue an upgrade of the blog software.

having trouble adding another blog entry.  I have
tried twice (then got wise, and saved the 'blurb' in a word file so not to
have to type it again) but when I go to add post, the computer 'thinks' but
then takes me to my blog with the last entry. My new entry hasn't been
uploaded.  I haven't changed any settings that I'm aware of.  I have noticed
that I have to log in to CR more than I used to...even though I have my
login saved on my computer....but just figured this was a computer glitch on
my end - not sure if this is related.   And, I have been logged in when I've
been trying to upload my blog entry.

After reading WhippetGal's blog I found out the problem with uploading blog
entries!    2010 isn't an option for the date to be uploaded......and it had
defaulted to 2/1/06!      I dated it 31/12/09 so it would upload as a recent
entry and all good.

I lost a long blog entry last week haven't dared do another since. Maybe it is still there, heading back to 2006 pronto!

Mine did the same a few nights ago-I spent ages on a post and it dissapeared.  Thanks Plu-off to look at the history now!
Ok-checked history and changed the date to 31/12/2009.  It's a day earlier than I wrote it.

Here's another weirdness. In a (fruitless) search for the missing blog I looked for the words "long time" (part of the title) and got 4 pages of results. No surprise here, but then when I tried to look through the pages each one showed the same list (with my last entry at the top).

Mine did that to.  I thought I would start 2010 off with a bang and write a blog to match this and after a bit of time I won't admit how much it dissappeared.  NOT HAPPY  :good:

Not in Jan 2006?

When you go to enter the title again as if it is a new entry....does it come up with the correct option in the drop down box?  That was how I figured out that it had actually gone somewhere......and then Whippet gal's PS tipped me off about the date being the trick (and I noticed it had defaulted to Jan 3rd 2006).

Looking forward to reading it when you do find it Sook....

ok I have been reading the vendors website and unsurprisingly others have had the same issue.
I have made one of the fixes suggested.
Can anyone let us know how it goes (I can back out if reqd) or if any other issues remain ?

Refer attached... (you need a logon to read otherwise)

Attached File  2010_Blog_Year.pdf   34.02K   10 downloads

ps I just made a post and it all worked as expected !!

Thanks for fixing it Kevin. I went bananas when I lost my entry because it was so long - then I tried hitting 'back' on my browser and it came back again, which was when I saw the date issue.
