I want to start jogging again but only short distances (5kms) three times a week.
Looking for a relatively cheap pair of good quality runners. I have read online that the GTS 8's are quite heavy.
I'm only small, with pretty thin weak legs, any recs, would the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 8 cut it?
TIA

Hey there,
The Adrenaline GTS 8 is 326g (men's) and 269g (women's). We are now up to the GTS 10, and they weigh 315g/260g.
Generally, the more support a shoe offers, the slightly heavier it will be. Adrenaline is probably mid range (it is a moderate support shoe).
I would recommend getting properly fitted out to make sure you are getting the right level of support for your foot type.
Run happy!

I run in the Adrenalines because they are the right fit for my feet & I LOVE them. I don't notice the weight (except when they are full of water & I'm running in heavy rain - hey, it's just extra strength training!).
Can't agree enough that you should get some good advice on the right shoe for your running style. For me, wrong shoes, or worn out shoes = injury.
Love the new Adrenaline 10's
