You go Stella! This is a bit of a team effort everyone! I'm Stella's support crew! Never 'crewed' anyone before so I hope I do a good enough job.
Will be taking her there, introducing her to some of the people there I know and being at her beck and call for 24 hours!!!!
Am I safe?!!!!

I have just left Stella at the pool. She is in the capable hands of one of my friends who is a physio for the MS Society and she has also met a Sports Scientist who is an aquatics training specialist and trains masters swimmers. Think Stella is having a good time.

It is not too late to sponsor her. She is swimming between 9.00 and 11.00 pm and filling in to keep TeamMS's lane moving.

couldnt stay for the whole thing got a bit ill during night. I swam 2.5 km which im very happy with but body protested on doing any more and i still havent managed to sleep.
I met some amazing people yesterday and for the first time i met people with Ms. what i leanrned most is every single one reacts differently thought the heat issue seems a common bond.
Its scarey how little is known about the disease and why the body attacks itself and seriously guys funds are really needed to sontinue research into it. I met one girl who was fitter than me and you could hardly terll she was even sick a bit like me and others that are wheelchair bound. the one thing they all said is never stop exercising but you may have to adjust what you do in the heat.
IU found a coach she is an exercise scientist at the uni and runs a squad happy to take me on and also work with me in the gym on strength and balance. who knows maybe i will learn to hop..
I was super impressed with a few young poeple swimming for their mums who have MS when i left one 11yo was up to 9kms se would swim a km then resttill next hour and swim again
So although im feeling worse for wear today it was a very positive outcome for me
