I am a beginner runner and went today to get fitted for running shoes.
I was made to feel very welcome by Glen at Active Stride. He took his time finding the right shoes for me.
For any beginner who is feeling intimidated by running shops, don't! I can definatly recommend Active Stride. Can't wait to get out for a run in my new shoes tomorrow!

Very plugged in to the trail scene, too - I have been guilty of going in on the pretext of looking at gear to find out the latest goss.

I'm a fan of Active Stride too... love checking stuff out on their comprehensive website ( http://www.activestride.com.au/ ) and then popping in to purchase. Will probably buy online from them once i get more familiar with whatever it is i want to buy
