Do Ascends give the same level of support? I can't find a reference to support on all the official sites.

However, it's in the 'Performance' column (less cushioning) whereas Inspire is in the 'Moderate' column.

Can't see Wave Ascend on this matrix. Is there another version?

Seems it is no longer on the 2010 US chart, I heard a rumour that the Ascend was to be no more, but pure rumour at this stage. It is on the 2010 UK chart however but not categorised for pronation.

9 downloadsI have seen reviews for the ascend (inc US Trail Runner), and also advertised in reputable running shoe stores as "neutral". I wear neutral shoes (high arches, no over pronation) and have gone through 2 pairs of the Ascend 3's, haven't tried the 4's yet, and have had no issues with them.
Added: wear Riders and Precisions as road shoes.

It's not a neutral shoe (although it evidently does work for plenty of runners w/out pronation issues, and RW identify it as suitable for neutral runners - even as they state it "provides a lot of stability on gnarly terrain").
