Ok, stupid question of the day... :D

I am looking at buying some Mizunos online (from a UK store - cheapest i've found) and was fitted for a size 10 pair of Mizunos recently, here in Sydney. I am unsure as to whether this would have been an Aus size 10 or USA size 10? Didn't check at the time... oops!

I currently have a pair of size 9.5 US Reeboks, so i'm assuming it will have been a US size 10 I was fitted for - which apparently is a UK size 8, according to this site: http://www.runtheplanet.com/resources/tool...econversion.asp

Thanks... :D
Caroline

Um go back to the shop that you had been fitted for the Mizunos and at least buy a pair from them for taking the time to fit you. Then in future you will can just look at that pair to know what size to order online.

I'm with chrisso. I consider it unethical to spend the time of a shoe store's staff just to get your size, without buying the item.

I know I should, decent thing to do, but when the shoes i've found o/seas are HALF the price of the ones here in Aus... i'm a bit limited in the funds department currently, so it's my best option right now. I will certainly be going back to the the shop here in the future, if not for shoes for other things, but can't this time.

So help on the shoe size thing would be most appreciated, if anyone can help.

(I know i'm not the only one who has gone o/seas for items recently..).

Many of us, including me, buy all of our shoes overseas.

I still stand by my comment above.

I was going to add my 2c, but the sizing chart you posted has thrown me – I didn’t think Australia had their own sizes until now – I always thought/assumed they used US sizes?

Sorry, not much help, more of a proclamation of my confusion.

When looking at shoe sizes I normally now look at the EURO size (a no in high 30s or low 40s) and use this to tell what size I should order (as this is the same across mens and womens shoes, so I know to find the equiv of a 39 in whatever size they take orders in).

Hi AB

I bought a pair of Mizunos on the weekend. They are a US9.5 or UK7. It is possible that if you were measured in a US10 it would probably be a UK7.5. I'm with the others though - for at least that first pair. You tried them on in the shop but that was only for a couple of minutes. At least if you buy them from Australia, it is easier to return them, if you encounter problems.

Hope this helps.
