Have been planning a 3 Peaks assault since a failed attempt last October, unfortunately my partner has just decided he can't fit this trip into his scedule- I think the C2K paperwork is beginning to get the better of him. Looking to do it weekend of 23/24 Oct, 2010, weather being kind. Not fit enough to run it in 24hrs, looking more to a 36-48hr schedule- ie fast bushwalk, and domestic pressure is against a solo attempt, so any takers?

Hi Wilf,
I know a bush walking group are also doing the 3 peaks this weekend but I wasn't able to join in with them as an unknown entity to them. I am interested in also attempting 3 Peaks but I don't think I can fit it in right at the moment. Good luck and I hope you find someone to go with you. Much more fun and safer.

The weather will force a postponment of the walk, maybe for up to 2 weeks. When can you fit it in?

Hi wilf, I thought the weather was meant to be okay this weekend.
I hope I didn't confuse you when I said I can't fit it in right now, I probably can't do it until after Dec. Late Jan is the best I would be looking at. I have GNW in 3 weeks and then C2K 4 weeks directly after.
I am very keen to do it although I have heard the navigation is difficult.
wilf can I ask are you an experienced rogainer to find the way ?
