Want to participate in this one. Its a 4/8 km fun run or walk along the maribyrnong river. Very scenic course and close to home too!! Just a bit confusing as the website says 19th May 2011, Runners World Magazine says 5th March 2011 and all dates seem different? Anyone know the actual date, i think its March 19th but just want to double check with anyone else who might be running this one (not much of a challenge for CR regulars i know!!). Anyone know about how many runners usually do this one too?

I did it last year - about 500 runners according to the results.

I'm pretty sure they have settled on 19th as the date and trying to make it a twilight event. It was on Sunday morning in late Feb, last year. Its 2 just laps of the Maribyrnong starting on the opposite side of the river from Aberfeldie park. Park your car in one of the side streets up past the Anglers.
Don't think I'll do it this year as I am looking for something a bit longer.
