Hi everyone,
So excited to know that this iconic race will still be on. Missing Reggie and Elaine but I know they will be there in the mountains with us.
For a second year I have organised accommodation at the Riverbend Homestead. This accommodation caters for 12 people. I am taking a group from Tassie and other states in Australia, offering accommodation, coaching advice and support. If you are interested please let me know ASAP as this incredible accommodation is filling up fast.
Some of us will be bringing bikes and toys so if you want to just come for a few of the runs and play the rest of the time... GREAT!

The turn out seemed healthy and many smiles (and maybe some grimaces) were seen on the trails - particularly Mount Hotham and Mount Buffalo, with perfect Vic Alps weather. Some amazing times and efforts, too, great work by everyone who participated

It's taken me a while to get to this point, but I now feel like I really achieved something runningwise this weekend.
Huge thanks to Bruce & co for their efforts in putting this event together.

Not much more to add to what you have said benc apart from that I need to train more and more and this event really has motivated me back into it.
Even though I only did days one and two it was nice to be a part of the event. Very well organised and well supported by good numbers of entrants. Can't really get a lot better value for $10 per hill or $20 for the 4! Thanks to Bruce and all the volunteers for putting this on.
Much repect to those who passed me on the way up!

4 peaks in for days. 4 PBs in 4 days.
Fantastic group of entrants. Fantastic volunteers.
My favourite running (or should I say fast hicking) event in Oz.
Love it! Can't wait for next year.

And, yeah, what a great weekend it was! The weather was pretty close to perfect for running. I have to say it was humid on Mt Buffalo yesterday though...

Apart from the fact I sucked on Day 1, pretty chuffed with how I went. Might need to re-run Mystic a few times before next year. Or learn to run downhill better.
