Sydney marathon Clinic will be having its monthly event on Sunday at 7am or 7.30am in the South Western suburbs.
There will be a 5k walk, 5k run, 10k run and a longer run, cost for the smaller runs is probably $20 for a visitor. There are drink stations, fruit after, electronic timing, results recoded on a website, lots of encouragement and support and lots of Coolrunners. It is a great run to be involved in.
Enjoy your stay.

Well 3 days f lectures and workshops i learnt heaps icluding a lot about running strength and form. why backs get sore and what the core actually is.

Have a lot to work on now and implement into my work...

I didnt get much free time but i did get a run down to the opera house in that torrential rain on Saturday. Was worth the ru, In the dark through hyde park pretty scarey..your curbs are higher and the streets werent well lit till i reached the park. but coming down and spotting the opera house and the brudge just on dawn was worth the effort i even ran three lots of the stairs and a kind security guy took my photo at the top

I met many amazing people. Seemed odd to be in the state which possible has the most CR's and not catch up with any though :)

Will you do events this season, StellaC? I'm not up for your mega-long stuff, but am usually around the 10km-HM events, like Sri Chinmoy etc.

Yeah, Sunday public transport sucks here!  I'd much rather get a train. You're in Frankston, right? First train 0648 gets to town just before 8.  Mine is about the same - Pakenham/Cranbourne.

If we're doing the same event, and you can get to/from Dandenong or so, I can probably pick you up on the way through.
