being a fellow member of brisbane road runners, i was fortunate to hear quite a few tales of gary's adventures.
I have no doubt the book will be a great read.

i will be getting this one to go with my Ron Grant's (both books) & Pat Farmer's books. Look forward to a good read.

added bonus of getting the book signed if bought off the internet. unfortunately mine isn't. Had a browse through it last night & covers all of Gary's runs - 1000m races, Birdsville track, Simpson Desert etc... & not just his Legacy around Australia run.

Read it last night. Very easy to read, but was probably familiar with the subject. I recommend to all ultra fans to read and to even people wanting a little motivation in life. For the record - I wasnt the AURA President at the time, just an AURA Committee member (Wife thinks I was Vice Pres at the time)
