Any opinion would be welcome though, but am curious as to how they compare.
I wear my KSOs for all runs, but recently ran in parts of Western Sydney parklands, and its very stony, and it bloody hurts when I land on them. The grass lining the sides is quite uneven so I am all over the place while running. I recently discovered the KSO Trek, which appear to be aimed at trail running. Does anyone use them for trail running and how do you find them over stony ground?
Thanks heaps

I went from running in Classics to Bikilas to Treksports and have never looked back. The Bikilas were great for running on bitumen / grass etc, but as soon as I started increasing my trail runs I found them to be lacking a bit over rocky ground. When I changed to Trek Sports the difference was incredible. It's only an extra 1mm in the sole but the increased protection on the forefoot of the tread made a massive difference for foot protection from stones. Don't get me wrong, some rocks are going to hurt regardless of what you're wearing, but I find the Trek Sports a massive improvement over previous Vibrams.
I'm not sure how familiar you are with the Trek Sports - same sole as the KSO Treks but the upper is lighter and more breathable. Definitely worth investigating (I got mine from Adventure Megastore in Kent St in the City, and I know Northside Runners in Crows Nest has them for a great price too). Not saying it to brag, but I ran the North Face 100 ultra in the Blue Mountains on the weekend in my Trek Sports and they were brilliant - they coped with some serious punishment really well...
