Ourimbah and myself have discovered a new route between Katoomba and Mittagong. The new route is the same as the old route except it involves sleeping over in Yerranderrie. This provides much needed relief from Darrels jokes as well as you get to see Darrels cheery face at 3:30 am when he wakes you up.

Actually come to think of it I think Innes and Terry pioneered this route when they got lost a couple of years back.

When: Queens Bday Long weekend, leaving Saturday early from Katoomba. Hopefully finishing late Sunday in Mittagong.

Even with a break this is a fairly arduous run, so no pretenders please. Hopefully by day 2 Ourimbah will have quietened down a bit though and we can enjoy some peace and quiet.

I will need to book lodging in Yerranderrie, if you would like to join in let me know and I will include you. Actually if you have ever wanted to go to Yerranderrie this is your chance, its a lot easier running there than driving there.

I don't know the course, nor the food drop/water options, but I'm interested.
How many km's will you cover each day?
I'm also interested in Poor Mans Comrades which I assume is the same weekend.

Funny ERB - the way I am running at the moment we might have to replace it with a 2 day Ourimbah Classic out and back.

We are doing it the weekend before if you guys are keen and have support vehicle meeting us in at Yerranderrie. The lodge currently only has 6 of us upstairs and another group downstairs.
Contact me at michael.brown@aapt.com.au if you want any other details.
