Hi,
Being a gen-y uni-student, I am defined by the tendency to spend hours on Facebook when I should be doing assignments. The same applies for blogger, hotmail and, most recently, coolrunning.

Does anyone else use the site as an effective way to procrastinate?

Cheers,
Zac.

As am I. (Although I worked both days this weekend, I spent no time in here at all).

When you start typing the address to this site in, when you intended to go elsewhere, you know you are in trouble.

It is triggered by combinations of certain words and phrases.

Nearly six thousand posts in nearly eleven years.
That's over 500 per year.
That's 10 per week; best part of two a day, every day, for eleven years.
But then, sleep is for wimps, eh David?

Ah! Procratination.
The more you practise it the better you get.

I can already procrastin8 with ease
- could be described as procrastin9
- but aiming to be the perfect procras10ator!

Its only procrastination if you THINK there's something more important that you could be doing.
But honestly, is there?

PS I only came upon this thread by accident (unlike you slackers)

Given that a lot of the times I check out CR are during the hours of 9 to 5 (whilst I am in paid employment), I guess there is an element of procrastination for me also.

One of the best things I've seen scribbled on a toilet wall (that I didn't put there myself, I mean) is the simple instruction : - Procrastinate NOW!

Any chance of a 'Like' function on coolrunning. Now that'll be cool.

Come to think of it, CR and running would be procrastination from a non-runner's POV...hmmmmmPosted Image
