Hi all -

Am going to run the 6 inch trail this year.    Plan is to make a weekend of it with the family.   can anyone provide any advice on travel logistics.

We want to either stay in North Dandalup somewhere near the start and the family can drive to the Dwellingup to see me finish.

Or if there is nowwhere to stay in North Dandalup, stay in Dwellingup, but then I will need to get to the start somehow in Dandelup

Anyone facing similar logistics challenges - how have other managed the weekend previously with regards to transport and accomodation.

Ta

Most people either drive down from Perth, or stay in Dwellingup. On the morning of the race there is car pooling from Dwellingup either from the caravan park, or the finish to the start, it is easy to organise. Those who leave their cars at the start are then given a lift back after the race. I think Dwellingup is filling up fast, last I heard the caravan park had no accommodation left.

I don't think there is much or anything at North Danadelup accommodation wise. Other options would be to stay in Pinjarra or Mandurah even.

Zeno accommodation in Dwellingup has sold out so I'm staying in Pinjarra.  I'm sure someone will be able to give you a lift to the start from here.

At this stage I'll be driving down from Fremantle at about 3am, if anyone wants a lift or to do a cardrop to Dwellingup.
