Was wondering if anyone else had the need for a second one like myself on the same knee and if so how did the second one go and when were you running?

Just had my second right knee arthroscopy today last one was end of july which obviously didnt worked like it should have,so today was a second go.
Was wondering if anyone else had the need for a second one like myself on the same knee and if so how did the second one go and when were you running?

I had two knee arthroscopies. One in 1986 the other in 1989.
I didn't run again until 2008, when I got to the stage I was trying to save my knees. That was until I found a physio who showed me McConnell taping, and I was able to rebuild my knee.
Don't underestimate the need for rehab.

Email me, I had the left done in 1997 and the right in 2003, and in both cases I was running with in 10 days, and doing Marathons with in 4 months, at the same pace as prior to the Op.

Depends on what surgery is involved (e.g. ACL reconstruction, removal of torn meniscus piece, meniscus repair)
I'm booked in for arthroscopy in Feb and am expecting a meniscus repair at the stage (orthopedic surgeon won't know for sure until he gets the camera in). If it's a repair job then I expect it will be about 8-10 weeks before I am jogging at all.
What sort of procedure did you have done?
I had an ACL reconstruction a few years ago (other knee), can't remember the rehab time but I was running better than ever once I had healed. Hope your recovery goes well, I am getting frustrated not being able to get out for a run but what can you do but take it easy and wait.....
