Obviously I got all excited when I read this in the paper today (couldn't find it online but then I am not a computer nerd), as I am a big fan of cross country running. I have seen some of these events before but am not sure if its a separate category of event like Adventure Racing or just "this year's fad". Lots of people doing them though!

Wow, I'm surprised I've never heard about this giving the participant numbers claimed in the article!

these are good cross country running races where non runners walk and talk and runners push ourselves and talk to in and have some fun with things to climb up over and under

I'm doing the Warrior Dash next month. I'm going to make a weekend of it - set up camp and enjoy the experience. Woo!

Yep. I'm looking to do the warrior dash. Looks like a lot of fun.

I watch the biggest loser where they're doing all sorts of punishing activities and just think I'd love to be doing that.
