This Saturday Morning(7AM) is the 30th Anniversary Run.

Its not very often that a running club can claim its been in existence for 30 Years, but the Sherwood Forest Runners can, and they have run every Saturday Morning at 7AM, since 1982. Yes, they even managed to run during the 2011 Brisbane floods. Everybody who can get there is invite along for a 2km, 4km or 6km run, and afterwards, there is a BYO BBQ Breakfast. If you haven't run at Sherwood before, now is the time to start.
More information about the Sherwood Forest Runners can be found at:
Runners Tribe by clicking here

The start area is entered from Jolimont St(UBD Map 178 K-19)

There is a 'Gold Coin' donation to run, of which 100% goes to charity.

Huge turnout this morning and probably a record number of CoolRunners there too.  It was a hot morning and the grass area was pretty soggy, but it didn't seem to stop some people flying around the course.

First time there this morning, never new it existed until Robson invited me (thanks Robson).

Great, informal atmosphere.
