From the lack of replies on this site, looks like there won't be many Coolrunners at this event.  Always a good event and well organised.

Great event as per usual in the Domain. The organisers sorted out the minor issues that they had in the past such as young children standing on the startline (always a dangerous thing) and the field ran nicely. Ran some of the way with Superflake and ended up coming 22nd overall which was not too bad. Good to also see the marshalling improved near the art gallery which prevented any major accidents through pedestrians coming out of nowhere.

Bad drop was quick, easy and efficient (SMH and City to Circus can learn heaps from this run) - big tick on this front. Was only a pity that some of Long Arms crew didn't turn up as it is always good to compete against those that are that step ahead. That said, I don't blame them due to the problems with the cutting of the course of previous years. The winners this year for some reason didnt walk away with anything other than a trophy. Also was interesting to see that the age group prizes of previous years had been dumped.

Good day out - great cause.

Another great day as always.  Love the new course and where the race commenced.  Agree marshalling has improved, however I did have an incident just before the art gallery where a group of spectators decided to walk straight in front of me.  I of course had to pull up suddently to avoid hitting them and pulled something in my leg.  These spectators were there for some family member or friend that was running.  Makes you wonder...would they have walked in front of me if I had been their relative.  I don't mind getting injured if through my own stupid fault, but when through the selfishness of another, very annoying.  Otherwise, the volunteers did a wonderful job as is always the case.  By no means criticising the organising of the event as without the volunteers and hard work of all involved events like this would not be able to take place each year.

See website Quote "Age category medals for 4km and 8km runs will be mailed to winners of each age category after the event. Age categories - U15, U18, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+."
Only saw a few CRs today. Felt good running but only managed about half a minute faster than last year. Expected faster and felt I was running faster but enjoyed the run anyway. Better organised than last year. Sorry about the injury Kookaburra. Some people have no idea-they were lucky they weren.t in front of me- I have lost my sidestep.... hope you recover quickly.
Results won't be up until Tuesday.

KEG, I did see you there today.  Injury not too bad and am sure if I take it easy over the week I will be ready for the Scenic Manly run next Sunday.  I did a 26km walk yesterday, so that didn't help the situation.  My time was 37 seconds slower than last year.  Old age is catching up.

hey Sam, how come you've been up at a couple of NSW events recently?
You haven't moved or something?
