I just read that Gu have teamed up with Strava to track runners' mileage from 9/3 to 9/4. If you complete 100 miles there is Gu to be won. Rewards increase incrementally with the distance covered.

Details can be found at:

GU 100,000 Mile Challenge

It seems like good publicity for Gu and Strava and a good motivator.

Looking forward to trying out the peanut butter Gu. Will see if it's better than the coffee flavour, sounds promising.
Got the email today, you have until Friday to claim your reward.

I too will have the opportunity to sample peanut butter Gu. Having clocked 149 miles, I was only 1 mile off getting what I actually wanted, which was the roctane Gu's, but hey, you can't look a gift Gu in the mouth.

My box of peanut butter Gu arrived this week. I expect to need a lot of water to wash it down, but hopefully it will be a lot less sweet than the other gels that I have tried so far...

I love my peanut butter Gu!  Does feel like it needs lots of water though.  That and the Christmas Special mint, which is a fun change.
