I'm registered for this years funrun with a costume theme of Medoc through history.
The theme can then be interpolated into Australian history. Any costume suggestions on Australian history theme is appreciated.

Also, can a runner "hydrate" in all 22 hydration stations and finish before cut-off time? I only have a PB of 4:36 with a more humble "hydration" record.

Flight and hotel sorted. Running training starts early April due to knee injury.

What about authentic Ned Kelly outfit?

You may need to "hydrate" more often though!

I ran Medoc a couple of years ago. I planned to wear my surf lifesaving gear but it was super HOT. I didn't start tasting the wine till Chateau Rothschild at around the 21km mark. Awesome event.

Seris
Am planning to have the sunblock painted in Aboriginal design in upper body. Will this be enough in the heat? Or just paint the running singlet with Australian Aboriginal design to prevent sunburn and dehydration.

Ned Kelly outfit prevents me from tasting the wine, lol. Have settled with balls and chain and Aboriginal paint job on shirt or body with Aussie flag. Have trained running on balls and chain from Tugun to Southport via Burleigh National Park and 1k of sand along Surfers Paradise beach. Had the best 27k training run of my life as people were already smiling up ahead.

Glad you're a bloke ;) You'd get more attention if you were female and painted your body, but you would have to start drinking at the first wine station!
