Online entries are now open for 2012 City to Casino (20 May 2012) at www.citytocasino.com.au. Entries will be available instore at The Running Edge shortly.

There are a few changes from last year:

• It's the 40th anniversary so we are issuing a finisher's medal this year.
  
• The course has reverted back to the 2010 course (removing the detour down Quayle St) and continues along Sandy Bay Rd to Wrest Point.
  
• Electronic timing is also being used for the first time this year.

We're also keen to hear from anyone who completed the inaugural event in 1973 - see attached finisher's list. We've got a special event planned for you.

So pi$$ed I missed this event.  My training was going well until two weeks ago - I've basically been in bed with a hideous respiratory virus for the last two weeks.

Looks like it was a top day for it yesterday.  Was there a tailwind?  Wind appeared to be from the NW, which I assume would be at your back for most of the course.
