Hi All,

Ive just moved to Melbourne from Sydney, I ran with NRG running club in North Sydney while I lived there and really loved it! They always had interval training on a monday night and longer runs on Thurs, Sat with shorter and hill running options at other times during the week.

Im living right in Moonee Ponds now that ive moved to Melbourne and would really love to join a club with a similar type of regime/routine hopefully somewhere close!

If any one could point me in the right direction, that would be great.

Cheers
Aaron

Hobsons Bay running club isn't too far away from you. Training runs Tues & Thurs nights + Sunday morning runs and once a month 5km handicap

Hi Aaron, I would consider one of the groups that meet at Princes Park as they are on the right side of the city if you are in Moonee Ponds. Also Athletics Essendon is close by. Don't know a great deal about their training though.

Vigor running is one group that meets at Princes Park on Tuesday nights. Some info about them can be found at http://www.vigor.net.au/Vigor-Running

Melbourne Uni aths club also train at Princes Park on Mondays & Wednesdays so there are plenty of options if you want something close by.
