Hay everyone just wanted to ask a few questions about this amazing facility.
Firstly is anyone on cr using this facility as a tend to see many runners down there when doing my training and i must say some are fairly good.
Secondly the complex is running tri events rowing events and cycling etc so when are we going to see a running event held here as there is a perfectly flat 5km events track that surrounds the lake that requires no road cloasures and has 500 meter markers running down 2.5 km straight for perfect pace.
i think this would be the fastest 5 km track in perth.
Thirdly i wanted to see if any cool runners wanted to team up for training at the complex eg speed work and fast stuff eg 3 min km pace to 4 min km with distances between 2-10 km reps.i figure i wont look so stupid sprinting inbetween the markers if im not the only one doing it.so if anyone is interested let me know

Great event and one to mark down for next year.good turn out and fast course and prize money up for grabs!!!.They did a great job with this event althow i could only make it for the 5 km so if any other cool runners made it for the 5 km let me know how it was.As far as time i wasnt after a pb as i have done almost no running since my injurie at perth marathon so was fairly happy with 18 30 for the 5 km and second place.
Happy running everyone and hope to see you all out the!re next year
