AV Cross Country Relays are on this weekend at Jells Park. Fantastic to see that Craig Mottram (Geelong) and Jeff Risely (Knox) are running.
We are so lucky here in Vic to have these elite runners turning up for club runs.
Cant wait to get out there and run my leg, then watch the top guys run around.
I should add that Steve Moneghetti will probably be there as well. He has run the last couple of year in the relays

It was a great day out there today, perfect conditions for running. It was great to see Mottram, Risley and Monas running around. They make it look so easy.
I ended up running 22:23 for the 6km, exactly 1min slower than last year. Not sure what happened, I dont think my fitnnes has dropped off that much. Just have to out it down to one of those runs.
How did everyone else go?

Totally agree, what a great day to kick off XCR again. Mona went flying past me and I saw Mottram finishing too...
Hey Tony was the course slightly different to last year? Maybe a bit slower
I'd never run Jells before and I thought I'd be fatigued after Geelong half last week but I ran 22.18 with dead even laps which I think is a good time for me.
Really enjoyed catching up with some runners I hadn't seen for a while

The course may have been a bit different, its hard to tell, Well done on running even laps, I find that I am not good at running even. Today my 2nd lap was 30secs slower than the first.
