yes Stella. I hope you can come. At the Berridale camp we had one guy with a 10km pb of 69 minutes who has only been running for a few months and another guy with a 2hr 35min half marathon pb.
These camps are a great opportuity for beginners to come and learn not only from the coaches but from fellow runners. They are about training at your own level, meeting lots of like minded runners and having fun.
If you bring 5 along you come free.

How big are the groups at the camp? Is there ongoing support?

I've wanted to do one of these for some time and timing has always been wrong. This one looks as though it should be OK, although I might have to be a late arrival on the Friday evening. Unless I could drive down earlier and work down there maybe. I know this sounds really pathetic, but do you know if there is internet in the rooms, or a 3G wireless broadband signal?

Farwest. There were 68 at this location in February. Most cabins are configured with a bunk room (2-4 in each room) and a double bed room, plus lounge area, dining area, kitchen and bathroom. There is ongoing support during sessions/runs and in between these sessions too. We will have at least 3 coaches at this camp, plus plenty of experienced runners who will be very helpful.
Moondust, late arrival on Friday evening is fine, better before 9.30pm if you can. I will be down there by 1.00pm so if you want to get down earlier to work I can let you into your cabin. There is 3G wireless broadband signal and plenty "in training" still squeeze in work.

Thanks Long Arms, that sounds great. I'll just check that everything is OK on the domestic front but assuming that's OK I'll get the deposit paid. :-)
