Following on from the reader awards voting thread the concensus was that we could email all CR members to encourage them to vote.
The only condition is that if we sent out an email, there had to be a mechanism for people to unsubscribe and to stay unsubscribed.
This is reasonably sophisticated to do this quickly and easily so I have used some of the facilities I have been using for the Six Foot Track newsletter.
If you didn't get the email then your email address in your profile is probably out of date. You can sign up here for future emails. The people that help out on the site (I still hesitate to call it a committee) have recommended that that therw won't be many emails and they will be "once in a while, non commercial, important stuff only".
Any comments ?

I've received the first (of more I hope!) e-mail newsletter. I think the idea is an excellent one that will keep members informed in areas of interest that might otherwise not reach the general message board. Thanks & congratulations, Kevin, on another move forward! B) LL

Eat 'em - the software I am using is scarily powerful. You received both Six Foot newsletters, and you read them both (but didn't click on any links!). The CR newsletter was emailed to you, but no record of it bouncing or undelivered. Maybe its in your spam pile ? or its still in cyberspace ?

Kevin, long live big brother - have not checked the links as I am now a no starter for 6 Foot '06 - not enough recovery time from injury .... <_<
But keep me on the mail out list - I can drool.
Have checked with IT Dept - nothing there for me ... cyberspace strikes again. ... ;)
