Presume the 10k course is out and back? Which direction does it go?

Another great event from the WAMC - well done guys and thank you.
I did the 1/2 but wondered how it was with the start of the 5 and 10s beginning back to back - looked confusing to my pre-coffee brain.
Just wanted to give a big shout out to my fellow runners who offered words of encouragement on the way. Always pleasantly surprised by the comments during a run. I was having a shocker on Sunday, but I got a real gee-up from a few well placed words a few times. Huge thanks!
Likewise to the marshalls - always grateful for your help, rarely able to gather enough breath to thank you.
Cheers
