Californian based Ultra Running podcast - interviews most of the top names in Americas plus a few others, nutritionalists, raced directors, old guys, barefooters etc.  Sort of drags you in after a while.

ps. Listen to lots of non-running podcasts when running.

I'm looking for some podcast listening ideas.  Running or otherwise if you think they may be of general interest.

Currently am picking some from Marathon Talk, Strength Running, Rich Roll.

More recommendations?

House of Run - light hearted banter with some serious analysis too.  can be US track centric but they cover all major events. its probably my favourite pod.

On Coaching - Steve Magness and Jon Marcus talk about coaching.  Mostly conceptual stuff rather than practical and they can waffle on a bit but its mostly interesting.

Tell Me Your Tales - a sub elite marathoner from Echuca interviewing his mates who are mostly other sub-elites and a few health/fitness types too. its hit or miss depending on the guest.

I have found non running podcasts to be my secret weapon on the longer runs - allows me to zone out.

Perpetual favourite is "Conversations with Richard Fidler" - a talented interviewer with such a variety of interview subjects.

For a laugh "My Dad Wrote a Porno" - not to everyone's taste but freaking hilarious

Another laugh is "No Such Thing as a Fish" - the guys that work on QI present weird and wonderful facts.

the Road to Berlin crew from Tell Me Your Tales are putting out some good content of late.
Merriem Daoui's appearance on TMYT is both refreshing and inspiring while the Inside Running podcast has had excellent interviews with Shaun Creighton and Pat Tiernan.

well worth the listen...even if it is a little rough around the edges.

Ive listened to every Marathon Talk and it feels like "home" now for me.

As well as a podcast there's actually a pretty cool community thing with MT. I've appeared on most segments in the show over the years:
 • Rate Your Run (several amusing anecdotes shared)
 • Listener Podium (WOW - 1 lucky run on a quiet week!!!)
 • MT Kit around the world (several pictures in the album from Australia and UK)
 • ...and I even won a pair of Jabra Sport Pulse Earphones back in 2015 for my Berlin Marathon run when they were giving them away!

Marathontalk now on my list...other than a couple of audio books...I burnt through the whole back catalogue of Freakenomics Radio the last 6 months and now I am halfway through The History of Rome (which is surprisingly entertaining)...if you are into that kind of stuff.

I was just having a look through some of them yesterday actually, and the The Strength Running Podcast really stood out. When I was going through the episode list I came across ep.95, which had an interview with Peter Bromka. Bromka is one of those guys who's truly inspirational to people just starting out, as his journey has been from an average runner to pretty much world-class. Highly recommend from what I've heard so far.

Inside running and Marathon talk are my main running ones.

Find your feet is ok as well, but that is a lot more broad and more trail running focused and general health and wellbeing

The Hidden athlete isnt bad - Ross Burrage interviews unheralded Australian athletes who talk about their sporting careers - some of the interviews are quite diverse - triathlon, mountain bike riding, ultra endurance riding, stair climbing, ocean rowing, paddleboarding, ultrarunning, ironman

The Move - cycling lance armstrong - covers tour de france.

Runner chats (australian)  Interview Australian elite/sub elite runners and have a chat drinking craft beer
