I've been using the Nike+ app on the iPhone for tracking my runs. Is there a heart rate monitor that is compatible with the app? I know there's one for the SportsWatch, but would this work with the iPhone app?
HRM for iPhone Nike+ running app?

I'm pretty sure the iPhone app is the only Nike device that the HRM in not compatible with! The iPod version works as does the watch. Just not the bloody phone
Annoying as I have been using the app for ages and would love to have HR readings integrated.

Discovered a work-around, which has been working great for me, even after the June 5th site revamp. Instead of using the Nike Running app, I switched over to iSmoothRun. You'll need a Wahoo Fitness key/adapter, and any ANT+ compatible chest strap. You can also use a foot pod. iSR will auto-toss your data to the NikePlus site, where it will appear as an iPod upload. The HR data WILL appear, and that run is treated the same as Nike Running runs-- shows up as expected, and blends with the other data as expected. I use the FuelBand app (I have one, so not sure if that's required to use the app) to view my activity on my iPhone/iPad, since the app pulls what's at the website.
Note: I had the SportWatch, but returned it. Way too glitchy for me (eg, adding a full mile to known distance routes, awarding 32 cals for a 3.5 mile run, etc).
Finally, bonus, as regards the iSR app: only one, to my knowledge, which will tell you *immediately* when you change HR zones.
Not related to the dev. It's just a mighty fine app that has worked, without hassles, over my past year of usage (previously tossed the data to RunKeeper, but the data and stats view at NikePlus ultimately won my heart, not to mention the FuelBand).

Thanks for the workaround! I'll definitely give that a go
