Hey everyone,

I thought I’d take the opportunity to introduce myself and offer my coaching services/advice to anyone in need….

I am a Level 3 Distance Coach and Physiotherapist consulting privately in the Bayside area. I have a distinct passion for treating and preventing running related injuries. I am also the director of Endurance Performance Coaching. As a combined physio/coach, I employ a scientific approach to program design and technique enhancement. I place a huge emphasis on injury prevention and adequate rest – prevention is better than a cure! All programs are individualised to suit your needs, as well as being periodised to allow you to peak for your desired races.

As well as personalised and squad coaching, I am interested in starting a weekly running group in the bayside area. At these runs, my plan would be to get around to each person and discuss aspects of their technique and training program that I feel could be improved. I would plan to place a $5-10 charge on each session.

In addition to coaching services, I am more than happy to help answer any questions that any of you may have via the forum. I have been extensively involved in athletics for 15 years and am now a frequent author in many running magazine, as well as conducting research projects into the field of barefoot running and risk factors for injury among runners. I thoroughly enjoy sharing my knowledge to help other passionate runners so any questions, please feel free to ask.

Anyone interested in coaching or running specific physiotherapy services, I encourage you to PM me and we can get in contact. Alternatively, feel free to visit www.enduranceperformancecoaching.com.au

Happy Running!

Hi BornToFree,

Congratulations on your venture including your website. As a physio myself who runs long , it looks very good.

Actually, I am quite envious, as I would have love to do something like this but lacked the intellectual resources, personality etc. to do so. No regrets though, I have a special interest in helping chronically ill people with exercise; hence have begun a Masters in Exercise Physiology.

So all the best, and I encourage to contribute frequently to discussions here with some science based replies to some of the discussions re. training.

veryCoolRunner....haha no my squads are NOT barefoot running cliques! With that said, I myself run a large portion of my training in fivefingers.
Would you be interested in joining a running group similar to what i suggest above?

r2w - thanks for the support. I'm also starting my masters but i'm doing mine in human movement and sports science. Your assistance to further my website coaching gig would be
most appreciated. If you feel that anyone you know may benefit from my help i'd love to help them.
