Hi all,
I am desperately needing a sprint coach ASAP in the Sydney area. Does anyone have any recommendations or know how I would go about finding one? I am a middle distance runner and a representative touch football player but have just made the Australian touch team. I need to improve my speed and agility.
Thank you so much in advance.
Happy running to everyone,
Hayley

Hayley, two things where are you located Sydney is pretty big?
There are lots of Sprints coaches spread around the place, just need to know where abouts it is convenient for you to train.
If you want to do your own search you can go to the Australian Track and Field Coaches Association (ATFCA) website and do a search there, some are better than others.

Congrats on making the team.

Hi Hayley,
I just joined a running squad Pulse Performance( great bunch of people) with Dani Andres (http://www.pulseperformance.com.au/), and noticed our coach has developed many runners into talented sprinters, most have been breaking records at zone and state carnivals. This is my second running squad, what i like about this group is we all get treated as an individual and not herd into a field like cattle as per my last group and just told to run without any feed back, last group was way too big, I'm not part of his sprint squad, way too fast for me and mostly under 16yrs but if you have yet to find a coach and trust me i know how hard it is to find the right one, he is also very consistent and educates you as we go along check out his website and contact him.
Good luck!
Cheers.

hi Hayley,
Congratulations on making the national team. That is tremendous. The best speed/agility coach for footballers I know of in Sydney is Roger Fabri who coaches a lot in Centennial Park. I see Roger coaching in between sessions I do in the park and he is excellent. He works with many professional, junior and resreational footy players from different codesand mainly does personal sessions (one on one) and very small groups. See his website here.
