I am keen to get some feedback on these designs (I will add more) and preferably some new designs as suggested by the collective readership of this website (someone must be a bit creative to overcome the "geeky" nature of many people here).

I like singlet design 1 - it's just that little bit different. However, is there anyway that you could push the female sizing to 16 (unless the 14 is going to be extremely generous) - not all of us are petite! I'm a fairly tall female who knows that she normally won't fit into a size 14 these days

I would like to see singlet design 3 with `cool runner ahead' on the back. I theink this would work for the t-shits & long sleeves too, but I like the idea of the `coolrunning.com.au' down the sleev of the long sleeve T's.
Some sort of coolmax material would be fantastic for the singlets and if the writing could be reflective, it would be even better.
Thanks

"of the current designs, I definately prefer siglet design #3. I love the logo for the Aussie coolrunning site.
For T-shirts, design #3 is my pick. I have enough white t-shirts I've collected from from races & events over the years to be able to wear a clean one every day for 6 months I reckon !! So something a little different in colour would be great. "
For myself, I like white stuff as I often run in the dark, but having something blue & funky would really stand out and look so ... so ... COOL that it might be worth doing it in a different colour.

I like Action's idea of personalising the gear with your cool running name. As somebody who doesn't know what any of you guys and girls looks like, it would be fun to be able to put faces to names whilst out and about

I prefer singlet design #3, and agree with the comments made about white T-Shirts the purpose is to stand out so that we can be identified.
Now the hard part getting a group decision.

Like Kevin, I also often run in the dark/twilight - so a white t-shirt would be good. The 'cool' letters could be black, CoolRunning blue or dayglo yellow.
3 reasons:
1. It leaves the way open for CoolRunning to expand it's range of designs while retaining brand control.
2. It puts all the important bits where they are less likely to be covered by your race number.
3. It would be elegantly graphic!

My preference would be for a tank-top type singlet and for the t shirt and longsleeve to have collars (sun protection) but that's a minor detail.
Singlet 1 looks funky blue, but I can see Action's point abotu having AUSTRALIA celarly visible... singlet 1 edges singlet 3 out for me... just!
I'll go for t shirt 2- same funky colour scheme.
Cheers all....

Singlet 1, T shirt 2 for me. cap is ok but not great. I'd still buy one though.
Coolmax material is great.

The designs are good, singlet 1 would be my choice, the colour blue says COOL RUNNING to me, but I liked the other print design. White is boring..........., if there is reflective material used in the design you will see the royal blue better than white anyway. Long sleeve design is also great (not a T fan, run in a singlet or long sleeve). Go the Coolmax material.

Given the mix of opinions voiced here as to whether people prefer the oval 'Cool' logo (per singlets 1 & 2) or the 'Cool running Australia'(per singlet 3) how about a compromise of having one logo on the front and the alternative on the back? Does that increase the production cost?

My only comment about the oval logo is that, even tho it has 'coolrunning.com' under, the wording in the oval looks like 'running COOL australia'
Also agree with Andrew about the logo being covered with race numbers, that shoudl be taken into consideration when placing the logo.
I do really like the bright colour tho - really stands out
Great stuff - when can we order them?

My favourites are singlet design 1 and 3. I love the blue singlet, it would be seen from miles away.
T-shirt design 1

One of my favourite t's is a 'Defence Lake Attack' (Albert Park Vic, ADI) design which is white front & back but has navy blue sleeves and band around the neck - really looks classy and highlights the logo on the white front.
If the Cool Running shirt had a unique light/mid blue on the sleeves and neck it would be easier to spot from a distance. Don't underestimate the importance of a colour to stand out from the crowd. My work has used a lime green shirt with navy edging for years and it is amazing how quickly your eyes zero in on them once you're onto it.
PS Great work Kevin - like the whole CR site, this post is a demo of thoughtful user friendliness. Well done!

i rate singlet 1 & 7 as the best. we have to use that beautiful blue! good idea of Action's to put our own names on the back. what will the long sleeve be made of? cotton i hope. i'd like to be able to wear it whilst not running as well, like before a race.

Singlet 1 in coolmax & Long Shirt sleeve design 1 in cotton with cool running logo on the sleeve do it for me.

Great effort by all on the designs.
My 2 cents worth for the singlet 6 and 7 look really good. 3 for the tshirt.
Somebody mentioned that it is nice to have the Australian aspect as part of the clothing. I couldn't agree more, from my point of view i would like to wear something promoting our sport.
I,m very sorry to be a bit negative but the cap design just didn't do much for me.
Again thanks for the effort of all involved and I,m sure all the contributors to this site appreciate the work that has been done.

My thoughts ...
Singlets 6 and 7. Leaning more towards 6 for the white background behind the CR logo.
T-shirt 3, I like the "cool runner ahead" idea. Not 100% about the front logo though. I think I prefer to have the word Australia more prominent as well.
The longsleeve looks great - love the colours. Web address down the sleeve is a nice idea - might as well make use of that big blue space! Again, not sure about the logo, but would most certainly live with it
