The Manly Scenic run is on again this year on Sunday, 19 May 2013.  Consisting of 2km, 5km and 10km run.  Great event which is scenic and challenging.  http://www.manlyfunrun.org.

Such a shame that Rotary changed this race from being the 4th sunday (1 week after the SMH Half) to the 3rd (same day as the Half). Rules out a lot of people who would do both - good or bad thing ?.

Last year it was as if they accidentally clashed but this year is more deliberate.

I'm toying whether to go the "hometown" option and skip the SMH half and run in Manly instead.

Getting your photo in the local paper must be tempting for you Dickyboy?

I don't need to worry about that - the MD is old hat for me. I've been on the Herald front page, front of the C2S brochure one year and the race website still has the photo of me & Tom as podium finishers from 3 years ago as we must be so much more attractive than the last 2 years leaders.
