Hi All,

I have religiously used Brooks Adrenalin for the past 6 years.

I am overdue for a new pair.

I have read some reviews on the Adrenalin 18's that are less than flattering -saying things like "don't breathe" and "only last 200k before starting to break down"

Does anyone have any first and experiences?

Thanks

Can't comment on the 18's specifically 4range - my most recent pair was the 16's. Didn't notice anything massively wrong/unusual with them, except a couple of lateral tears in the upper just above the sole that didn't happen with previous models. Still got roughly 900k out of the pair, so would happily buy another pair when I'm due.

Well I splurged & bought a pair of 18's & a pair of 19's...

So far the18's are very comfortable - but with less than 25km on them hard to tell if wear is pronounced or not.

The 19's I am wearing in around the house, before taking them out on the road, so we will see !

I don't like the new colours at all - that is probably the most important consideration when choosing new shoes, after all!!

My 13's are still looking pretty good!

That being said, as soon as I bought them we had our first kids and have barely run since.
I'm sure it's all about to change though!

I'd like to think you'd send Brooks an email with this feedback and a few suggestions as to the colour combinations you would like.  Be interested to see what they say.  Hopefully something interesting; not just a stock letter response.

Well,

A few more k's in & both are holding up well.

I find the 19's marginally more comfortable.

I have not felt the need to write to Brooks about the colours !

Finally moved to the 18s after buying a few more 16s on sale. So far have 130km on them and they feel fine - maybe slightly lighter than the 16s. Have used them in the wet and grip is good. Have a Marathon next friday so will see how they go then.
