Couple of weeks ago there was a thread re Brooks Trance v Adrenalin. I mentioned that I had bought the Trance and was having a hard time with them. I persevered but as I got closer to an hour of running the balls of my feet would gradually feel like every bone was bruised - agony. So I went back to Athlete's Foot in Warringah Mall thinking I'll have to fork out another $50 and get the super dooper inner sole to add to what is supposed to be the most cushioned running shoe in the Brooks range. Well lo and behold - we decided to try a half size bigger ! They seem to have made these smaller than my old Brooks. And I have to admit I just went ahead and said size 8 initially. I think it was Lisa who looked after me and she exchanged them without a blink. Great service huh ? I have only done a 5klm run so far they felt pretty good. So am hoping to give the Half Marathon a good nudge next week even though this prob has kept me rather undertrained.
