Anyone used these shoes before? I sent in a subscription to the new "R4YL" magazine and have just been informed that I have won a free pair of PearlIzumi running shoes. I have seen and used their cycling gear, but not the running stuff. Anyone any experience with this brand?

Hi Jonny. I have a pair of these. The seamless upper is beautiful to wear, but for me (I have moton's neuroma) there is not enough cushioning. They are really nice to wear around just for casual wear, but I think they need to do some work on the cushioning, especially in the forefoot. They also need to work on making the upper more stable if it is to become a running shoe. I guess that will come as they mature as running shoe designers. As with all Pearl Izumi products, the materials and the actual production is superb, but not enough stability or cushioning for running!

Hi all

Just looked at this cool site linked from another thread:

wearenotjoggers

Thought I'd revive this thread and see if their shoes have improved at all.
Do they live up to their hype?

The running shoes certainly look cool!

Anyone tried them in recent times?
Do they have much market in Australia?

Thanks,

Epi
