Anyone know if there is any real difference other than colour and around $70 between the Brooks Glycerine 2 and Brooks Glycerine 3 running shoes?

Hi Howard,

why not drop along to our seminar on the 31st where the Brooks Technical people will be there- you can get it from the manufacturer.

Check this link for full details.

Hey Howard

From what I've read on a number of running sites the Glycerine 3's are supposed to be a bit firmer than the 2's but I never owned a pair of 2's so can't give you a first hand comparison.

BTW - I just bought a new pair of Glycerine 3's on eBay for $103.75 delivered from the US. Sweet, sweet deal!

Hi wobbly man

I got them from here

He doesn’t seem to have any Brooks shoes on eBay at the moment but I had been looking out for a while knowing I would need a new pair shortly. When I saw some I grabbed them. Although his ads say he only ships to the US I emailed and asked if he would ship to Australia and he was happy to do so. The shoes were US$49.95 and shipping was US$30 but that is still less than half the retail price here. They arrived safely in 9 days.

Wobbly,

I buy all my running shoes from eBay. My most recent pair cost me AUD82.

Just set up a watchlist, and eBay will send you email when an item that you have specified becomes available.

[/indent]Were they bought from a reputable seller? Have you got them yet? I'm looking at getting a new pair myself (although am happy with the 2's). Can you share a link?
